Van Dijk is our best passer in the team now. The midfield 3 of Can-Wiji-Ox have 0 creativity and can't unlock this Swansea bus.

Another time VVD sends Salah through with an exquisite lob, Tough chance though.

Just tuned in, saw the corner, and though...hey, this is a good opportunity for Swansea to nick one. Lo and behold, they do

What did VVD do wrong? He cleared 2 corners. The goal was a scuffle with some prime luck.

As expected every team is going to park the bus against us and without Coutinho we don't have the keys to unlock them and also like clockwork they score their jammiest goal this season.

Can needs to *bleep* off to Juventus asap, I can't stand him in a Liverpool shirt. Wijnaldum is average as usual.

Best passer in the team VVD lmfao.

Why did we sell Coutinho FFS

VVD headed the ball from the corner down and not out of the box but inside it Laughing

I haven't watched the game, so VVD might have been very good so far, but you can't deny that's a defensive mistake that contributed to the goal. Think he should get an assist tbh

Whoscored says it's not an error that lead to a goal and he's the highest rated Liverpool player.
Clearly you have an agenda. It's sad to see what you have become.

It was VVD who won the ball amongst the 6 players who went for it together, You can't blame him for that. CB with some prime Facebook Football group level banter.

I'm actually serious. I'm not always, but this time I am.

If you're a defender and you get your head to the ball, that thing better be going out of bounds or out and away. I think it's great VVD got his head to it unlike the other Pool players, but if you get your head to it you CANNOT head it down and back into the box like he has done. No doubt it's jammy too, 75% of the time a player makes a mistake like that it doesn't result in a goal. This time, it did. But it's still a mistake.

Funnily enough, I think if he didn't get his head to it it was probably flying over his head and out of danger Laughing

Pool will win anyway tbh.

Nonsense, Look at Can and Wijnaldum. Matip has a better midfield penetration rate than them.

if Liverpool went to man marking we would cut out all the sloppy goals from corners and free kicks. as it stands it wont matter who Liverpool have at the back. zone marking is great is the incoming ball lands on your head but if it drops between 2 players you are fooked. I know the euro guys that post here like the zone marking because they think its more sophisticated but sometimes the best way is the easiest way.

Some day, someone has to explain to me what went wrong in English heads that they regard zonal marking as some fancy ivory-tower sophisticated foreign hocus pocus Laughing
How did that happen?

Everyone is using zonal marking AND man-marking dude . Everyone.

Yeah because midfield penetration is what we define great CBs just like tackles per game is how we define strikers

It's so bizarre Laughing It's like nobody's realised that the best team in the league rarely concede from set-pieces while marking zonally and having a small team. Yet one team does it badly and the whole system is shit.

Doubly funny this time because Palace used man marking against us on Saturday and conceded twice off corners. Nobody said a word.

Its not been like that since 2013, It was fairly obvious we were going to struggle against a team that parks the bus, Which all teams would after beating us comfortably beating City a team who attacks. Now even don't even have Coutinho.

Also I think CB needs to join Troll Football Facebook page. First called Firmino a racist and now scum. Downright horrible posts.
