Re: Lautaro Martinez ' El Toro'
Madrid got zero chance of signing him. And nobody wants to go to United.
You are favourites to land him, although you have to pay prime money as Inter are building a good team and wouldn't want to let him go.

I suppose theres going to be a bidding war for this beast (or does he have a release clause?), Barca have been linked to him every week for the past months
Yes, he has clause for 111 mln.
But Inter want to take it away this

Of course we do, we'll just have to hand @Robes 35 years old Modric and some cash probably around 80-90 million

who wouldn't ? but considering the way Farca conduct business nowadays they do not stand a chance with Inter if we get into play. Just hope we do not focus solely on that overrated speed merchant Mbappe

Nah i think a more likely scenario is we give Inter and @Robespiorre 31 year old Rakitić + cash. We can throw in Vidal too.

Imagine paying 100+ m € for a striker who can't head the ball to save his life

He can, despite his short stature.Hapless_Hans wrote:Imagine paying 100+ m € for a striker who can't head the ball to save his life
Re: Lautaro Martinez ' El Toro'
Lautaro should think twice about coming to Madrid. We are about to renew Benzema's contract. That should tell him where his place will be in the pecking order. He shouldn't join Barca either, we all know how payers of his profile have fared. Suarez was an anomaly and an animal. Ruthless goalscorer. Few of those players exist today

I could show you more poorly botched heading attempts than headed goals from him, but I'm not going to bother.

Re: Lautaro Martinez ' El Toro'
It was a sarcastic comment in reply to Hans claim that he can't head the ball. But then again he rates Dembélé just cause he probably had one good match against Bayern a few seasons ago, much like some Barça fans think Wilshere is a GOAT cause he had one good match against Barça a decade agoMyesyats wrote:danyjr wrote:He can't head the ball.

Re: Lautaro Martinez ' El Toro'
Oh okay
Yeah Hans does seem to have weird taste or he just can't admit that he is/was wrong about some of his sentiments.

Re: Lautaro Martinez ' El Toro'
He is attribute to attribute Inter's reincarnation of Milito.
Milito who was a considerably more technical player but both Argentine, both big game scorers instead of being outwardly prolific and both versatile in their way respective manner.
I've never had to eat my words as much as I have with Lautaro in recent years though my final doubt is if he can come through when his hot streak inevitably is due to end.
Either way, like Icardi is proving to score when it matters despite their relative anonymity in the full 90.

Re: Lautaro Martinez ' El Toro'
He is always been good technically and even last year he made a job for the team that Icardi couldn't give at same way
What he missed was the end of product and he was inconsistency ... but it's the typical first year of adaption to Serie A
Moreover I'd not underrate what it means to pass from Spalletti to Conte for a football player.
I respect Spalletti as coach but he 's passed his prime and he's not particularly good to develop young players . at least this Spalletti who is became stagnant for his ideas ( while in his Roma days he was brillaint and he seemed avant-garde manager ... well , 10 years . if even Ancelotti is a dinosaur now..).
We 've always played with an only CF, a sort of monotematic 4-5-1 where the CF was quite isolated and it had to be supported from 2 lunatic wingers ( Perisic, Politano ) and-Nainggolan-if-he-was-avaliable and midfielder didn't work much without the ball
Conte is an incredible coach because he overturned everything.
In that old context it is not easy to emerge for a rookie CF
1 if you play with an only CF , and that CF was the Captain ( Icardi) , you barely play 2 when the Captain has diserted, he started on pitch but without the better assistance for emergent. Played some few matches, then he got injured... Icardi came back on pitch....
Under Conte we 've changed principles of games and system,.
We play with 2 CF , that has facilitated his deveolpment and his partnership with Lukaku is amazing to watch.. They play from memory .... Enormous job by Conte again

Inter have stopped renewal talks with Lautaro due to the player wanting to consider offer from Barcelona, that Barca has the positive interest of the player.
