Mourinho loves him as a backup and wants to keep him, but Fellaini wants to be a starter (he has only started 4 games for us all season and only has a few hundred mins played) as he's 30 now and doesnt want to rot on the bench for the last few years of his career.

which is kinda admirable, but he knows there is concrete interest from other  CL playing clubs like Loserpool, Roma and Juve

terrific signing for any of those, instant starter. captain within 3 months.

can’t blame him for turning down that contract if he thinks he might get a chance to join Liverpool at least if he played for Liverpool he would get to kick the ball and not head it all day.

that's 200k per week for Can, he is a free transfer so this is actually a good deal. But at that level won't pjanic be pushing for a raise?

they wont be giving him 200k per week. they will give him a big signing fee plus about 90k per week that together will work out at 200k per week over the contract that way on paper he is not making more than the star players. well if they had any sense they would do that.
