setting looks amazing. big fan of cyberpunk stories in general. would've been cooler if it was third person no doubt.

Honestly, the game world looks rather empty.
The animations clunky.
The driving seems to have no weight and then the shooting just not very fun.
I will put the near satirical voice acting down to some repeat of 80s dystopian films but as a whole it looks good, but does not move very well.

I hope they get the perspective for all the features it needs to also function well and have polish but I hope future videos prove me wrong.

I just think they overestimated how big their ambitions were compared to their ability and their in-house engine. Perhaps got carried away with the praise they got for Witcher 3 too.

The team has not done anything quite outside of Witcher so I can understand how the switch from 3rd person to 1st will be awkward and of course from a medieval environment to highly futuristic.

Ambitious it is but given all the time and money spent it is quite a risk to make such a jump but if they do pull it off successfully I would not be surprised given I rate them very highly.

Love the music in this, though driving still looks bad and unnatural. On the other hand, shooting seems really fun and satisfying.

I'm feeling Nomad too, something about coming from the Wastelands and leaving your family behind it all feels appealing to me though although I'll probably do all 3 at some point.

The composer is Marcin Przybyłowicz, who composed for Witcher 3 as well, to which had a beautiful soundtrack so no surprise there.

Look, a CDPR dev told me recently that they'd just clocked a 100-hour week. Another (former) dev just told me they saw some of their friends there and they looked "physically ill." So kindly gtfo with the "but but but I work long hours too" responses
