I believe I mentioned the game a few pages back. Not sure if it was this thread, but I don’t know where else I’d likely post about it. It got as much attention as an odorless fart.

tbh i don't know what Microsoft are trying to achieve with this design, are they trying to lure PC gamers into console gaming?

Wot? Some shock starting steam today. Don't know how I feel this tbh, I would prefer remaster rather than remake, but if they include modding tools, this could be amazing.

Never played the original but I've been told by some oldies who have that this game has dumbed down the original experience a lot to cater for younger fans.

Are you referring to that CGI trailer, or did they show actual gameplay?

Looks like Darksiders, which is meh as fk.

The first two Darksiders were great, in my opinion. I haven’t played the third one, but most people seem to think it was really poor and riddled with bugs. The characters in the trailer did remind me of Darksiders, but I have no reason to assume they’re similar types of games.

For the modern audience, the original is the grand daddy of Witcher 3, the first true 3D free roam RPG, with modern mechanics like voice acting and no load screens. And it still has features like crime system (lockpick, pickpocket, sneak) that W3 didn't have. I would say KCD is the first modern RPG to fully match Gothic in all aspects.

Yeah the game looks definitely been remade for modern audience, and currently from an old fan perspective it looks bad. But they're just asking how it feels with this teaser demo. The full game could be released earliest in 2021, so there's plenty of time to fix everything. Hopefully they will take the complaints into their hearts.

What is the best CoD game? Got a itch for FPS. Feel free to recommend any other FPS.
