Our sporting director is at ManCity right now apparently we’re pushing hard for Ferran Torres and he’s told Pep he wants to leave and Pep understood as Torres doesn’t want to pass up on this opportunity. Interesting.

History has shown me never to sign an early twenties striker, no matter how hot they are.

90% of world class strikers are late bloomers IMHO. Very silly to spend big money on these guys who are usually on a hot streak.

Barcelona are well positioned for the signing of Haaland because of Laporta's great relationship with Mino Raiola.

Haaland wants to be the leader of his next team. Laporta is crazy about signing him. He wants him to be the 'Ronaldinho' of his first project.

Haaland could be this decade's defining player. If he goes to RM we're fucked but if he wants to be the main man then I doubt he will go there if they sign Mbappe first.

Haaland, he's the best striker I've seen at this age in my life. A generational talent no doubt. But with the amount he is going to cost you, two things should concern you:

Is he the profile of the player Barça need right now? True Depay and Torres are not CF but they will do for now, whereas your fullback and CAM positions need more power. As an example none of your midfielders are creative (your DM Busquets being the most creative these days!), thus signing Haaland will always have him isolated up front and having to join in build up play which he is not playing to his strengths at all. RB has been an issue since Alves left years ago, and with Alba on decline your LB also needs strengthening. Seriously, your wingbacks are poor.
If you want to play 'Barcelona style', Haaland isn't a very good option. He is very quick and strong and thrives under the counterattacking system BVB play but Barça is another matter. I actually think a false 9 will be better for the style of football Barça intend to play.

I assume Ferran will take on the false-9 role now. IMO Haaland is better at build up than you give him credit for. But those are valid points you're making and he definitely thrives on the counter. It's just that if theres any chance of us signing him, its too good of an opportunity to pass up. Maybe i'm wrong.

Barcelona have scheduled a meeting with Mino Raiola to discuss deals for Mazraoui and Haaland next week. There will also be a meeting for Azpilicueta and Christensen.

Moratas agent deserves agent of the century, turning a prospective youth player into a money making machine and a Spanish NT starter.

For the record with castilla morata was actually VERY good but he was a winger and was actually way shorter. He hit this insane growth spurt IIRC and they moved him to striker

No, he was a striker at Castilla, maybe you are referring to academy days. At Castilla he was the CF, with Jese on one side and Denis on the other!
