Told you so tbh so no surprises there.
Are you blind? We've been getting dominated with Rakitic too as a regular starter for literally the past 2-3 years, by the like of Rayo Vallecano and many others.
Valverde is the problem!!

Nope. We played some of our best football away to Inter last season. Also against Spurs away from home. Knockout away games were the only problem. This season everyone keeps up with Barca. Slavia, Levante, you name it.
Explain how we can play like this under the same coach:
Yet suddenly Slavia at home is problematic and it's the coach.

Re: Champions League 2019/20 | Group F
Posting one or two highlights from last season is not an argument. We have some pretty good performances this season too, roughly 1 in 5 games but still. I can post a replay of the Valencia game where Frenkie-Arthur-Busi was the midfield and tell you "look, how do we manita this team but struggle to string 3 passes together the week after under the same coach" but that is a non-argument.
Apart from the odd performances here and there, the trend stays the same - we've been getting dominated by minnows for a long time now, way before Frenkie joined the team.

Without that money (and Conte) they would have been in EL.Doc wrote:rincon wrote:Inter

Re: Champions League 2019/20 | Group F
Rest assured they'll be playing in EL in a couple of matches.
Having said that I'm super gutted for Lautaro Martínez. He's been Inter's best player ever since he joined the club. He is fantastic at combining with attacking players and putting himself in service of the team. For a guy who isn't big in stature, he also wins a lot of aerial battles, which I've been quite impressed by. I only wish Icardi wasn't such a asshole and he had stayed at Inter because he played very effectively with Lautaro the few times they played together.

That's a lot of revisionist. Cant say he is Inters best player since joining the club, wasnt even good last season. He has been benefitting a lot from joining Inter seeing his clear improvement.

Re: Champions League 2019/20 | Group F
Skriniar, the defense was surely the best aspect of Inter's last season. Skriniar, De Vrij, Handanovic and D'Ambrosio were all more consistent than anyone up front. Brozovic gets a call after that. Overall a season without standouts in attack.
Lautaro is coming good now, like every other player (except Politano and Skriniar) he is at his best level this season.

Re: Champions League 2019/20 | Group F
Curious, how has Godin fared at Inter so far? At Atletico considered by some as the best CB in the world for many years.
I just saw bits of the game, but Inter seem to just collapse a bit in the second half for some reason, too tired? I mean Dortmund is a good team, but still, shouldnt be that big of a difference, its a bit like watching us Barca's meltdown in the second legs
Conte also complained again after the game about the management not giving him enough top stars lool, this guys really doesnt care what his bosses think

Re: Champions League 2019/20 | Group F
Godin has done very well. Him and De Vrij are both better than Skriniar this season.
Conte's complaint is that the squad isn't large enough, and good enough, to compete on all fronts, too many games in a row with a very small bench that got hit by injuries. He is right. It's just that his ambitions for the season are higher than the Inter's management. He wants to come in and win it all. Inter and their squad are not there yet.

Re: Champions League 2019/20 | Group F
Im not gonna be criticise Rakitic, hes clearly completely lost confidence since the summer when the club tried to include him in the Neymar deal, which he never wanted. Dont forget like Busquets he lost favour very quickly after being a starter and a really hard working food performer imo for many years for us. I keep saying his decline and Modric's is really strange, but its for all to see, but the club is looking to left him go in Jan. it seems to recoup as much money as possible anyway, so I think its fair for him to be not motivated to play well anyway.

Anyone gonna hold accountable those idiots who look at 10 replays in the VAR room and say 'play on'? ehh

Re: Champions League 2019/20 | Group F
Dembélé is just wow. Imagine if he hadn't cost Barça €105 million, or he had come from the B team, he would have been loaned out to Eibar two seasons ago.

Re: Champions League 2019/20 | Group F
it s incredible.
lukaku scores 0-2 .
But ref watches VAR.
Disallowes. Deletes goal. Give penalty to Slavia. 1.1.
