I thought it was official that he dislocated his elbow? Was that all a lie? hmm

Dislocated is, from what one hears, super super painful but doesn't entail a very long injury absence compared to if he broke it.

So maybe that's the solution to the riddle

Claiming he faked it is a pretty terrible thing to say tbh

Why not? Clearly, a lot of people had no issues claiming that Cristiano Ronaldo definitely raped and sodomized a woman in Las vegas. Claiming that someone is faking injury is like doubting a weather forecast in the nonchalant, gossipy world of GL hmm Also, you should thank Kovac for man-managing Gnabry. Otherwise, he would have never reached his potential. Legendary manager.

Post by Jay29 Sun Oct 06, 2019 1:21 pm

I was looking through some XG numbers so far, and was surprised to find Manchester United have easily the best defensive numbers.

https://understat.com/league/EPL

United's xGA of 5.53 is better than City's (8.47) and Liverpool's (7.38). It's streets ahead of Arsenal's crappy 12.20.

Problem has been their xG of 11.17, which is decent at this point, but not amazing. Actual goals scored of 9 suggests they've been a tiny bit wasteful.

Could be a case of better attacking quality leading to much improved results for Ole, because defensively his team seems to be doing very well.

Everyone's on board the Leicester hype train at the moment but they've managed to score 14 goals off just 8.10 xG. They're going straight back into mid-table with those numbers.

Everton, on the other hand, are the huge underperformers so far. Only six goals scored despite an xG of 11.24. Suggests they're not finishing well at the moment but could turn things around if they fix that.

absolutely, the defender got the ball then the player, pretty sure this is why it wasn't called

also how has Ceballos been for you after the initial overhype as if he was the new Iniesta or something?

Why Chambers at RB?

Don't really see the appeal tbh.

Also, the way the implement VAR in PL is so annoying. Why don't they do the check in the background, and don't make everyone stop and watch them review an action where likely nothing going to happen?

Struggled after a good start but he is back to being good. Was fantastic last match and very good in this match too.

Pepe runs into the tackle (not his fault) where the defender gets the ball first. Not a penalty.

Mane is A) Irrelevant B) had no contact on the ball and was a tackle from behind.

I don't understand how Arsenal fans are the saltiest about this.
