What is Palace's tactic? Hope for a 0 all draw?

They honestly rolled over as soon as we scored. What an easy 2 0 win rofl

Nice Lampard has done an admirable job. Well done to him and his team. He did the right thing getting rid of the deadwood and trusting the youngsters. It might not be enough to win trophies but with 1-2 additions of experienced players he will soon get it right.

Though, yet another forner player doing well at his club. Football has moved away from the Mourinho's and towards the Lampard's. I expect other teams to look within when they hit more or less rock bottom (Bayern/Barca). In todays footballing world you don't neeed to be the best tactician to win trophies and these former players have proved it

I'm willing to give Poch a run of games now that the team is somewhat close to injury free (really could use Lamela back...been one of Spurs best players this season if not the best).

But they've got to improve in the next 6-8 games or I'm officially out.

And the only reason I haven't been so far is that Lo Celso just came back and N'Dombele is still gaining fitness, and he's done so much for the club.

But right now Spurs are bad. They're legitimately playing worse than teams like Sheffield or Leicester or Brighton or Bournemouth. Those teams in front of Spurs are outplaying Tottenham every time they match up. That's just not acceptable.

Then there are things like playing Dier, who I've long advocated shouldn't be in Spurs team anymore AT ALL, and then not taking him off after he was the worst player on the pitch and costing Spurs time and time again. Not to mention starting him next to Davinson, who I've said shouldn't start for Spurs (and he wasn't good either). Couldn't play out of the back with those two, and that's partially because he was playing Sissoko deep, who can't turn, can't pick a pass, and can't link up with other players.

Then Spurs continue to try to play out the back, even though it's obvious they couldn't.

The team is unorganized. They used to have some really well practiced sequences of play when Tottenham were at their best. Now it looks like no one knows where to go and what pass should be played next. I have long blamed the midfield on that more than Poch (since up front Spurs start to look like they know what they're doing...they just can't get the ball up front), but I'm starting to believe it's Poch.

But that's why I'm giving him some time. Get Lo Celso and N'Dombele out there and start to tweak the build up and the team can get back on track. Failing that, it's time for him to go.

I agree, I'm just in awe Poch hasn't taken him out when it was so bad and everyone could see

I don’t think there’s much Rodgers would be able to do with their leaky defense. From what I can tell, they need  to strengthen their defense, then midfield, then depth. They have top class forwards, already.

Arsenal had one shot after the 53rd minute. They managed two shots the entire second half, when they were chasing the game, desperate for a win.

Emery has won 87 points from 50 PL games, which is a worse record than Wenger's final 50 PL games in charge of the club.

This is Arsenal's worst start to a season since 1982/83.

Arsenal have won just 6 of their last 19 PL games.

They've won only 8 of their 18 games in all competitions so far.

Their goal difference is currently -1.

I'm running out of ways to illustrate that Arsenal are shit.

Based on his Leicester stint so far? I'm unconvinced.

Don't get me wrong, he's doing good stuff at the moment. Leciester are a good side. But I do think their finishing is unsustainable and not reflective of a well put together attacking unit. Their current success is mostly built off a solid defence, which ngl, would be nice to have at Arsenal.

Also, world of difference managing Leicester when expectations are to finish in an EL place at best, to managing Arsenal where players are boo'd off on a frequent basis, everyone hates each other and anything less than a top four finish is a disaster.

At the moment, I'm thinking Arsenal need not only a better coach than Emery, but someone with a strong personality and leadership. A smiley corporate manager type like Rodgers who probably gets excited by seminars on motivation probably isn't that guy.
