Marcelo is so likeable but man he is so done

Good game. Brahim again with a great cameo. I like him alot more than Rodrygo. We should keep him to back up whoever is the starting RW

I hope we make Areola's loan permanent. He seems to have clicked with the team and is a very good keeper

I think Zidane's decision to leave Hazard out is a good one. No need to rush him back. Let him slowly get back to full fitness without taking any unnecessary risks.

I also realize that as long as Hazard is still in his prime, Vini has no chance in hell to play on that left flank, which is perfectly fine with me because it should be all about meritocracy and Hazard simply blows the Brazilian out of the water in almost everything.

But I still fail to see what Lucas has done to be ahead of Brahim in the pecking order.

I dont mind Hazard stating over Vini because he is simply better. But I'd like us to try Hazard in the whole roaming around the ehole pitch and Vini on the left, in ZZ's famous Zduamond. Will be interesting to see

Regardless, with our ageist president, Hazard will not play past 33 years of age and Vini will only be 24 by then

Lucas is there because ZZ has feelings for him. Only reason i cam find tbh. At least he doesnt pick Bale over Brahim these days

Odegaard is playing well so far.

It's also quite interesting to see how fragile our defense becomes when you put Marcelo instead of Mendy there.

Still the night is young, and their forward is wasting chances like candy. We can get back into the game if we just focus a little bit.

James has no place even in our C team, limited on every level

About that, I'm really not sure if Vini and Hazard can both coexist in the same lineup with Vini sticking to the left flank and Hazard having a free roaming role behind Benzema.

Mainly because, and watching Vini tonight, he seems to have similar reflexes to Hazard on where to position himself on the pitch, on and off the ball.

If you put two players like that at the same time, there's a fair chance they may get in each other's way more than once during the game.

This loss is all on Zidane. he underestimates Sociedad so much that he does not play his 5 best defenders. Courtis out, Varane out, Mendy out, Carvajal out, Casemiro out. does not even call up Bale or hazard who is clearly fit to atleast play few minutes.

Zidane made a mistake and it cost us.
