Yeah lewandowski is not a scrub lol. You dont have to put him down to make Benzema look better. They're about the same level, though this season benzema is indeed crazy decisive. But other seasons Lewa was better. Benzema is not a 50goal/season striker

Lewandowski is fucking lit. All time great striker.

On a career basis he has been far more consistent than Benz.

The latter is more skilled and a big game winner but putting Lewa to elevate Benz is just lazy.

Lewa is the better goalscorer of the 2 no doubt and he himself aint bad technacally at all but Benz is the better all round striker. Has lots of tech, the finnishing, the speed, and just enough aerial game.

THIS. if we were leading 4 nil or 5 nil then yeah, but in this instance the best player should always take the pk when its for a go ahead goal. fantastic gesture if he indeed did that. but glad he took it and not rodrygo. rodrygo will have other opportunities for hattricks in the future hopefully

Agreed, solid gesture from Benz and great of Rodrygo to pass up on the opportunity

Rodrygo is thought of highly by the squad in terms of penalties. I can't remember which game it was where Kroos shouted at him to come over so that he'd be the first penalty taker.

Kroos later said that Rodrygo rarely misses penalties in training

I can't help but admire Benz that's all

you're talking about the penalty against atletico in the supercopa , i remember that like yesterday. btw wasnt rodrygo's first goal for us a freekick in a friendly?

Doesn't really matter. He is now a league and CL winner with a stellar season, loads of goals and so many clutch moments in the CL I can't even count.

All kidding aside, this year there should be no voting. Carve his fucking name on the BdO and give it to him already.

Benzema, I will say it already: congrats for your fully deserved BdO! We couldn't have won any of the trophies without you!
