Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
Looks like it's gonna take longer than usual for teams to get into game shape. Thus, the results in EPL in the first couple of weeks are probably going to be a bit chaotic

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
For context, Liverpool have had two weeks of training, Arsenal have had just one. They've played just three friendlies between them.
The Community Shield is a low-key affair at the best of times, but this one is no bigger than an International Champions Trophy game.

yeah results in the beginning weaks might play a big role in the end, probably teams just need to grind out results somehow. Those tight 1-0s and 2-0s.

I'm glad I can enjoy a win over Liverpool before the customary dismantling at Anfield in a month's time.

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
overall we were the better team over the 90, good win for kicking on the momentum of the Arteta revolution, hopefully we have more of our transfer business done (incoming and outgoings) by the start of the PL season in a fortnight's time.

Not to act like I'm shitting on Arsenal all of a sudden but thoughts on the moves Everton are making? better manager and team than Arsenal on paper, IMO. Think they'll do well next season.

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
Fully deserved victory by Arsenal.
We dominated but lets be honest did not create much and were very predictable, moved the ball slow and Arsenal closed it down fast.
Penalties were also classy by the London team and just more clinically taken and this is the second time we've lost the shield on penalties.
No cope from me as I wanted the trophy but congratulations Gunners.

Good times
I hope they keep on adding Özils after Özils to Arsenal because El G says that is the way to maintain the level of loser mentality of achieving the top 4 loser trophy
