Football is a team game n this game Messi simply had less compatible teammates with chemistry to work with. Di Maria was surprisingly poor on the left. MF was no Verratti n instead were the mediocre ones in terms of keep ball n quality forward passes Razz

Up front was Icardi instead of Mbappe so obviously it was harder. When u consider all that n Lorient defended well n constantly countered well it wasnt that surprising.

Basically again PSG with Verratti is another team, with Mbappe obviously big difference up front, etc... hope they will be fit for Real, together with Neymar, otherwise not much hope.

He's just extremely predictable. Also, not fast enough strangely... he can't get past people.

If you can't just dribble past people anymore, then you need to move without the ball and anticipate a lot more. He's not doing that at all.
