Re: GL NBA Fantasy 2020/2021
The only category I really have on lock is threes. Points and FG% can change a lot still and I'm only 5 ahead in steals.
But it's looking like a good playoff beef, may the best - or least injured - team win.

Does everyone see it like this? I don't. Playoffs > regular season.

No one sees it like that lol
That said. Can't believe I finally have my top healthy team and it's already consolation round.
I'd be fucking set in a dynasty game though. My fault for drafting like it was one.

Re: GL NBA Fantasy 2020/2021
Beefs > season > playoffs
I never think ahead of the current beef Since playoffs are knock-out beefs, we can consider the winner as the real champion. But finishing the regular season in 1st place is more prestigious.

Well I don't see a way back in this.
Lillard, George, Murray, and Brooks all missed games and I really needed them. Points and assists would have been on my side, with turnovers deciding.
Will still try. Congrats Habs you POS. Why do you have to beat me every year Even in the league, you just had to overtake me on the last week again FFS

meanwhile i just took a quick peak at how my team's been doing this week still in complete disarray Porzingis fucked up his ankle too, and i might have to drop Jerami Grant because he barely plays these days

i think there's merit to both.
Regular season 1st spot is an indicator that you drafted a good core of players and you rode the waves of injuries, luck and the week in, week out grind the best.
But we can't just ignore the entire structure of the game, which is knock-out playoffs at the end to determine a true champion.
with that said, @Freeza has anyone ever won both the 1st spot and the playoffs in GL history?

I think Dani did. Don’t think I did in either of mine.
Don’t know if it’s possible to check.

DeMar didn't play yesterday due to an injury and now Trae is out ffs. GG Art, it's going to take a miracle to turn this around right now.

I dunno, I'm missing Lavine due to bs covid protocol and Valanciunas hasn't played all week and has just turned to "injured", on top of the injured Gallinari. I don't think either of us are having a great time tbh.
I feel like I'm playing a gentleman, though, so it's all fun and games. NBA fantasy is a sophisticated game, after all. (Despite some of the dross that trickles in).

If Luca wins it's clear Jokic is the GOAT fantasy player.
It's like four times in a row he's on the winning team. I had him both years.

Yeah I feel you. I'm not trying to complain lol just being realistic, when I draft my team I got them for specfic catagories problems is 3 of my injuries where for 2-3 of my main catagories, hence why I said GG its going to take something for me to come back from that, but who knows, will try fighting till the end.

Re: GL NBA Fantasy 2020/2021
I concede, it's impossible now.
A beef where Lillard, George, Fox, SGA all missed games and Russell is still on restrictions, it was never gonna happen. Those are my top 5 picks FFS
Another great season, loads of fun and beeftories and beefeats.
When is the draft for next season

Re: GL NBA Fantasy 2020/2021
I lost LeBron, Murray, Walker to some extent but i had time to prepare BEFORE the beef. My plague was like 2-3 weeks ago. Fox got covid at the worst possible time he screwed thousands of people lol. Fantasy gods have been on my side but they usually give you a little push on the week-end. It's not impossible because most your guys can explode any moment, 80 pts 20 ast is not a convincing lead.
The decisive player of this beef so far, to my extreme surprise, has been Ja Morant.

Re: GL NBA Fantasy 2020/2021
Looking at the matchups, it kinda seems decided already who goes into the semi finals. But you never know...
Ddn‘t know the Fantasy season still goes on for non-play off teams ffs, let‘s go!

Ghost can still realistically overturn the percentage categories and blocks.
Seems like Habs has a semi-final against Luca sealed.

Re: GL NBA Fantasy 2020/2021
I still have two players to add on Sunday, but chances are slim to none.
Especially with the waiver so freaking dry. We need to go back to 10 players next year imo.
