So the Haaland deadline is in a couple of weeks and everyone are none the wiser

Where will he sign? Thimmy, anything in the Norwegian media?

Daily Mail says he's agreed terms with City and will be best paid in the league. Yeah i know, daily mail...

Yeah, the only thing I've read in Norwegian media is that he's agreed personal terms and salary with City. People tend to interpret that as a deal entering it's final stages, but negotiations like these happen in every transfer window, without those transfers necessarily coming to fruition.

He may have agreed personal terms with multiple clubs already. The media will just exclude the clubs that don't fit whatever their narrative is. In other words, nothing has been confirmed. Man City do seem like the most likely destination at this point, though.

Pedrerol reported last night that RMad never entered into serious discussions after City agreed on salary for him.

At this point, I hope that is true as we need the money that was set aside for him to sign midfield and defense needs.

Edit: also just read in some UK sports media that RMad not only have abandoned Haaland pursuit, but also are planning to use that allocated money (or some of it) to pursue both James and Rudgier from Chelsea and also go for Cavani, also on a free transfer.

I sure hope there is truth to these stories. If true, they could resolve a lot of issues.
