Insane choke job by Inter. Basically the best team they've been ever with Inzaghi and it's a choke.

La Liga keeps proving the best league over and over and once again
The rest are mid, the self proclaimed best team in the world can’t beat Porto. Honkey donkeys all around with puffed up chests but no substance

Re: 23/24 UCL Knockout Stage
Give me Dortmund and then Barca. We'll reduce Cubarsi to tears. Then City in the final.
Who am I kidding. We'll get QSG for the millionth time and City will get Dortmund and Haaland will statpadd with 5 goals.
Bayern v Barca that'll be good.
Atleti v Arsenal will be a great. If they thought Porto was bad good luck with Atleti at the Wanda

Both Barca and Atleti fans racially abusing Vini in absentia. How cringe. He is permanently in their minds

Re: 23/24 UCL Knockout Stage
LoLoLolOlLOlLLoL @ Inter getting knocked out by Atletico... with 1-0 up first leg.... not place for me to laugh as a Barca fan But still, has to be said this was unexpected... towards the end for long periods, Inter were getting dominated n bombarded by freakin Atletico, WTF.... with all the talk of the playing the best football or Simone the best manager this season or so.... pfft, flopped hard here?
Credit to Atletico... they often do this kinda things... but Inter sorta made it easy for them by sitting back to so but not actually defending that well? They seemed to tire badly. Wonder what the assessment is gonna be how this happened?

Re: 23/24 UCL Knockout Stage
Inzaghi's balls, that we praised so much here, disappeared with about 15 minutes to go. Made a bunch of defensive subs, wingbacks out, CB's on, so 5 CB's. Inter completely lost the football that made them so good all year and Atletico were suddenly looking like scoring every second. And score they did.
Massive choke job, very disappointed. Selection of PK takers was obviously wrong, I guessed right who would score and who would miss. If I can make such an observation, I wonder why Inzaghi couldn't.
Despite making strides, Inzaghi still has a bit to go before we can say he is a top coach. Lautaro also suffering on the big stage, same as the WC where he shit his pants.
Oh well, still a great season for Inter, especially considering our poverty budget. Or should I say no budget, since Inter net spending for the last 5 years is 20 million. Marotta magic. Milan and Juve have a 200+ million net spend over the same period, yet their teams are nowhere close.

Such an odd thing. Inzaghi all of us criticised here for having no balls and shitting his pants most games, then gains those cajones with the UCL final the best example, and loses it against....Atletico....
This generally happens to Serie A managers who are so conditioned growing up on the diet of defence first that when the pressure mounts the immediately resort to their hindbrain not forgetting in this day and age, absorbing serious pressure on the backline quite literally does not work unless you have Sacchi's Milan or Mourinho's Inter as your defence. It just doesn't.
Notice Inter dominated Atleti when they chose not to concede pressure.
And Lautaro will never be a top player as a result.
Deserved loss.

Re: 23/24 UCL Knockout Stage
Atleti who had been in poor form for the past month, made a very impressive return to form with the return of one single player - Griezmann!
Their next victim- Arsenal!

to me it's the most stupidest thing that yellow cards aren't wiped clean after the R16...
6 group games, 2 R16, 2 QF = 10 games
vs
a possible maximum of 3 games for SF + final
makes absolutely no sense at all the way it currently is

There are alot of easy teams for us, we have a number of teams to pick from.
But seeing you suffer against Atleti will be gold to see as a neutral

Re: 23/24 UCL Knockout Stage
You were the one saying you were going to beatdown RMad. You also were the team that had to go to penalties to get by an ‘Italian team’ and then you wanted the other anti futbol team eliminated, presumably because you feared facing another anti futbol team. However this team, with Griezmann back, can score! It sounds like if they are your next opponent, it will be your worse nightmare!
Meanwhile, we are ranked 2nd amongst remaining 8 teams. Although nothing is certain at this stage, I feel confident against any team, especially Arsenal except for City, whom I hope we meet in the final.
