2003/2004. He played at a level that only the best can achieve.
2004/2005. Continued his dominance over the PL.

If Arsenal had made the final of the CL in any of those years, he would have won it for sure.

2003 is arguable (I would agree though)

2000? Suspect he was raw talent brought in a year before to replace Anelka and really burst onto the scene in 2000/2001 with his wonder goal against Man Utd.

Nedved deserved his Ballon d'Or, but Henry needed one as well.

I would write him down along with Del Piero as some of the biggest players never to get a lot of individual awards, or at least not as many as they deserved.

What a goal, pure class, I miss Henry. One of the greatest strikers in the world of football, he scored some of the best goals.

Always proud to know was a Gunner. Not wining the world best player still puzzles me really.

Whether Henry should have won it instead of Sheva is debatable but come on man, Sheva was definitely top 3 that season.
