How come noone is actually talking about performances in these friendlies? Thats what we've always focused on.

I was impressed with Cuenca, he's a good player. Got him mixed up with Afellay a number of times and he showed his tiki-taka was pretty good.

Fontas looked a bit rusty at first but slowly came into the game and had a pretty good one in the end. He wasn't helped by his awkward partnerships with Busquets (too similar a player) and Armando (not great, and pretty slow too). Partnered with Puyol he'll play best I believe.

Thiago continues to show his stuff, while Jonathan probably shows why he's not going to make it anymore.

Soriano's been playing well, just needs a goal.

Iniesta is class, and Villa is looking really hungry.

Btw... anyone know if Pique, Xavi and Puyol will play tonight?

Puyol is injured, Xavi don't wanna risk and Pique has to bang Shakira. So they will not play xD

I presumed Pique would play tonight, and I hope he does. We don't have enough players to keep up our game for 90 minutes otherwise and its never great when you're training badly.

I also think we need to play Villa or Pedro with Iniesta in one half. Seperating them means Iniesta is owning but no one is finishing his moves. Whereas Villa is making great moves etc. but can't get the ball ever.

btw dont you guyz feel for a better sub keeper??? I mean our sub keeper should not be treated in the same way as others. Probably our sub keeper gets the most playing time than any others to that position in the world considering he plays in a full tournament. Look Chelsea,Liverpool, Madrid and even Man city have better sub keeper than us even it can be counted how many games they started in last 2/3 seasons. So why don we go for a better keeper. I do have respect for pinto but i think we can easily get a better sub keeper in cheap.

Thiago + Iniesta was great yesterday.. i think we should start with both..

Yes, but the only players capable of running the game in this squad are Busquets (who'll probably be a CB again), Iniesta and Thiago. So unless we want to play rubbish in the second half again, we should split them up. Thiago is very experienced with Jonathan, so I think they'll do decently, and Iniesta is a god who could boss it with Milito by his side if needed

Well considering the squad they have compared to ours, they should win this one. Iniesta is good... but I'm not sure he can win this game virtually alone in the 45 minutes he's on the field.
