Like I said in the other thread, the anniversary of his father's death is a few days away, which is why he looked sad today. Ronaldo will continue playing for Madrid and raping Barcelona in the anus, for many years to come.

If he (CR7) leaves I don't think there is any point signing a big money replacement for him since nobody in the world can truly replace him in the wing. I would consider it better to play Benzema as LW and Higuain as CF. Jese as Benzema's back up. We will lose some in goals but most likely gain some in teamplay.

Assuming he wants to leave we should rather convince to him to stay at least through this season. We can't sell our best player in the middle of the season (winter transfer window) and expect to compete for the CL (assuming we progress from the group stage).

Anyway should he leave, we need to get as much money as possible from him. We shouldn't even listen to offers below 50 million euros.

I am just speculating for the sake of speculating . Ronaldo has not come out and say he wants to leave so there is no need to panic yet.
