Ahh, Bojinov....he could have been one of the top strikers.

Bojinov still has a lethal shot....he gained a bit of weight at Parma, that was the primary reason for his slump in form. Great see him at a new club.

Been hearing good things about Ricky van Wolfswinkel as well with Utrecht so I was surprised to see him make a move like this. Stijn Schaars is a good midfielder as well.

I'm really glad to see Gooch find a new home and have been impressed by him in the pre-season. He defended quite well against Juve and didn't show any of those jitters that plagued him with Milan and at the WC and Gold Cup.

I think only one of them would play, they already have Yannick who is better than both Capel and Jeffren

yannick is way too inconsistent he always fails to decieve

if you take his you would frustrated he is like menez, i hate sporting but i also wished that yannick could be the answer to our cf problems but it hasnt worked out yet. postiga is much mor reliable

Agreed Postiga is the better CF but Ive seen them use both of them with Yannick on the wing, its pretty dangerous, I was at the game when they tore up Juve like that.

Yannick to me should only play second striker, he isnt the guy who can put in great delivery on the wings and he isnt consistent enough as a scorer to be a number 9.

Ruins formations though because of these flaws.

I dont know man, I watched Sporting play live and Yannick played on the wing and was easily the best player on the field. his movement was great and youre probably right about the crossing but he was deadly cutting into the middle from out there

yup all he has is speed and a good shot, not much else
he had a great game against juve but he normally doesnt play that well
but i really hope he can carry on playing well and develop some more abilities

Well I dont deny he isnt a very good player, I like him alot, but his final pass isnt good, so him playing wide, he will always look to go solo and that basically means whoever is actually playing up front will get frustrated by a lack of service if Yannick isnt having a good day and not finding the back of the net.

Good play though, I just wouldnt play him on the wing.

4-4-1-1 with Yannick playing that second striker role sounds good to me, though I dont like 2 man centermid's really.
