The reason I picked those 2 is cus they have been playing together for while now. In time we could see all 3 play together.

I think what will have happen is Vermaelen and Koscielny will start, and if our LB is not doing well Wenger will bring Djouru in and put Vermaelen LB.

i think everyone is forgetting djourou was our best defender last year. How about we give him some time to regain form. Dj is a physical beast and verm would partner him very well. But i do think koscielny is a very good defender and has world class potential.

No we havnt, he was good for some time but then he got injured and hasnt picked his form yet.

Well I put my belief in him to recapture that form.

Anyone would look bad in our defence. The system is just wrong.

Vermaelen/Koscielny has been the most used partnership at the back this pre-season. Might be an indicator of what Wenger is thinking. Personally I think Vermaelen/Djourou has better balance but Koscielny is a very good defender in the making.

I really think its hard choice for Wenger cus Kocielny has bee getting better and better the guy is becoming top player very fast.

its stupid i know but i say forget about high line. the high line thing needs a good defensive coach but we dont have one.

I don't know who the defensive coach is, if we even have one at all.

The high line compliments our style nicely. To play attacking, posession based football you need to control posession in the opposition half. To do this, you need to push them back by playing with a high line.

Problem is it leaves you open to counter attacks, which is why the midfield and forwards need to pressure the ball and snuff out counters before they can get started, or give the defence enough time to fall back and close any gaps.

Arsenal unfortunately don't do this often enough.

We need to learn how to defend as a team, we cant blame our failure just one player, and I dont think one player can come in and fix all that.

OK for a 4th or 5th choice CB Squillaci is not that bad. I want Wenger to give the young guys a chance and leave Squillaci out unless he has no other choice.

Djorou is too clumsy guys. he doesnt read the game quite well. it should be verm-kos then 1 new cover CB. dj should be 4th in line. song is even a better CB. Djorou's mistake are fatal. ths aint th 1st tym he's done that. remember his country vs england. he has 2 be more composed. i say we loan him to a mid table team so that he can gow in confidence and composure. right now i aint feeling him at all

for those wh say he was our best CB last yr i jus want 2 remind u that in every race there is a winner. in dj's he was in a race with the likes of Squid so how can u expect him nt 2 be the 'best'. lets be honest wth each other. compare WC defender wth dj and u can say that dj is planets away. Dj is a decent CB bt nt good enough 4 arsenal.
