Stoke want to sign Bendtner for 9m

he would fit in pretty well into their team.... his height could finally come to use somewhere

i dont think his stature or personality would fit , stoke are an aggressive team who like to play rough, if bendtner went it would be a big shock to his system

He can do better, but I think it'd be a good place for him. He'd be guaranteed a starting place and plenty of time to prove his worth. Of course, the service from behind wouldn't be how he'd like it, but he'll have more than enough chances to score with his head. During the 09/10 season, when he basically carried the team throughout the final few months, he had the best header-to-goal ratio in the whole league bar none.

I don't think his ego would allow it.. he'd go with a chip on his shoulder, play like shat, get benched and then ... poof....

wenger played him consistently on the wings he was useless there, he is a striker and his best performances were in that position. i think this player has got loads of ability and i still remember his goal where he cut in from the left flank and shoot the ball right in the top corner. in other words, he shows glimpses of talent he has got but all of us gunners have lost patience with him.

I don't think Stoke will match his wages.

Too bad Dortmund or another good club aren't interested in him.

This is another drawback of the weird assed wage structure Wenger applies. Sure, our top stars don't earn as much, but all the shitty youth earns too much and players we want to offload are much harder to get rid of.

Not only wages but ego's .... Some of our lot are so delluded, they think half of Europe will be chasing after them

hes skilllful for his height, skillful enough for Wenger to think hes good enough to play on the wing.

If Bendtner would give up Arsenal Bench for Stoke, there is something wrong with him.

In all honesty , keeping wages and egos aside

For someone who harbors hope of becoming the world's greatest striker and who has the capability to be very good, it would be a step down.

I actually think Bolton & Everton would be better options for him , rather than Stoke..

p.s. I dont like seeing players playing against us in our own league.

If other teams dont sell to rivals and their hated teams , why should we aid them?

I dont rate him good.. So i wont mind selling him to Stoke.. And £9 million is pretty decent prize as he is not having much demand...

Read in stoke forum that the move has fallen through because Bendtner was unwilling to take wage cuts.Apparently he is on over 50k per week and Stoke cant afford it.
