Daily Mail - Juve Close on Alex
That it may soon sign another blow to the general manager of Juventus, Giuseppe Marotta. According to the Daily Mail, the Uruguayan international defender Lugano could renew with Fenerbahce and the Old Lady would be so ready to offer £ 10 million to Chelsea for Alex (29), a powerful central defender who will end his contract with the Blues June 30, 2013. Juventus still needs to be very careful Bayern Monaco and the Zenit St Petersburg, utime time in the company that showed a serious interest in the player.

I certainly wouldn't mind if we signed him
He has lots of experience and isn't he also very skilled at set pieces?

You don't say...I would upload a few YT videos on here for you to see but I'm too lazy.
Can't believe we're letting him go for 10m pounds. Should at least be 15m pounds. He's good enough to start at any club, shame we got Luiz because he was excellent.

We need bonucci to start. He's a great player with immense potential. I just hope Alex doesn't start over him. After all we did pay 15m for him

Its not a matter of not affording Alex because the finances are there to be spent. However, it's moreso a matter of spreading the finances on a top class LW, a solid CB and possibly a RB. In any case Bonucci for me has to start most games, so I wouldn't want to overspend on a CB when you're almost certain to have to give him a starting role and you still need a top class LW.
In anycase I thought the daily mail was a really unreliable of a source?
