Green light for Nasri? Empty Green light for Nasri?

Post by Mr Nick09 Fri Aug 05, 2011 8:36 am

L'Equipe is reporting that that Arsenal and Wenger is less and less determined to keep Nasri at all cost.

According to their sources, Wenger is slowly opening the door to his departure, despite announcing that that he would stay with the gunners.

They mention that a chain of events have led Wenger to relax his position on the issue, biggest of which, a lack of commitment from the player, whose performance against Boca was far from satisfying.

Nasri's agent already negotiated an accord in terms with Man City in case the move would open up, with City willing to pay 22M for the transfer.

Wenger however would be waiting to see out the negotiations with Mata to finally give the green light to a potential Nasri move away from Arsenal.

Lequipe is a excellent source of informations, very close from french football. So i wouldnt take it lightly if they report on the french connection. It's first party source, so there might be some elements of truth here.

It depends on what happens with Fabregas from what i read.If Barca dont match Cesc value he will stay and Nasri will be sold otherwise Nasri will stay and play out last year of his contract. And Fabregas issue will apparently be solved in the next 10 days as Arsenal play CL qualifier then.If he plays in that match he will stay for this season.Well thats what English media are saying.

If Nasri goes to City, they will become serious favourites for the PL title. Arsenal will do well to not let him go this season.
