PSG prepare €15m Gilardino bid

Paris Saint-Germain are said to be stepping up their bid to sign Alberto Gilardino from Fiorentina for €15m.

The striker has been linked with a move to France all summer, but according to Goal.com the negotiations are advancing rapidly.

It’s reported PSG are prepared to pay the full €15m price-tag in cash for Gilardino, plus a contract worth €5m per season.

The Italy international currently earns €2.5m per season at Fiorentina, so the move would double his wages.

Among the clubs interested in Gila are Genoa and Olympique Marseille.

Paris Saint-Germain have been very busy since hiring Leonardo as their new director general, signing Jeremy Menez from Roma plus Palermo duo Javier Pastore and Salvatore Sirigu.

Hoarau and Erding know they have not their place in "new Paris".

Gila would be a fool to reject this move..

An ambitious side with quality players and not to mention thats a juicy paypacket..

Better to join PSG who are on the rise rather than rot in mediocrity at genoa..

As far as i know, we arent looking to sign a striker, but since PSG is the new bg money club, it's an easy target for stupid rumors.

I heard leonardo was after borriello..Maybe gila is the alternative to him..

I just read that Gilardino agent denied the rumor and said that only Marseille took information.
