fantastic penalties by ronaldo. i rate penalties very high i mean really. they're the most difficult goals to score.

These guys are legends. Ronaldo's shots have amazing power, you can see the keeper get scared. meanwhile messi's shots are very intelligent in a place keeper can't even reach. So in both cases keepers are spectators.

I think this video shows who needs team-mates more. Messi would score all CR's goals (except 1-2), CR would not score even 30% of messi's goals

in one sentence, messi in r.madrid = success, CR in barcelona = fail

he scored 5-6 goals in last months. and he is a midfielder for argentina not a striker. in any top club (madrid, m.u etc) he would get success. argentina with no midfield and defence, actually valencia is better than argentina atm.

also CR - 0 goals in 15 months for NT, i think you forgot that moment that happeden few months ago. they both won nothing for their national team. but i think theres a reason why people talk about messi's NT performance more than CR's. because the first man is a legend second one is one of super-star players

I don't think I've ever recalled a season where two people in the top leagues scored over 53 goals each.

The Pichich Awardi/ European Golden Shoe contest last year between Ronaldo and Messi was insane. During the mid- stages of the season, Ronaldo's and Messi's goal tallies equalled each other every week.

Then, Messi zoomed ahead due to Ronaldo's injury and subsequent poor form, then Ronaldo regained lost territory by scoring an obscene amount of goals in the last few games of the season.

I wonder how these two will go this season, goalscoring wise.

does messi have such powerful two feet,so much of pace ,p ower acceleration? such great heading abilitiy, set piece taking? NO...

different folks different strokes... both are two of the best players today and we should just enjoy the goals

Appreciate that comment, and glad you liked the video.

I agree that it was unfortunate that Ronaldo got injured 2009/10 and dropped form, otherwise Im sure he would have been even more successful that year.

Feeling excited for this coming season and who knows they might performe even better this season. It will be an interesting league campain for sure Very Happy
