British media claim Juventus are stepping up their bid to sign Chelsea defender Alex for around £7.5m.
The Brazilian was already the subject of an offer last month, said to be worth £7m, but that was rejected.

According to The Sun, Juve directors will fly out to London on Tuesday to hold intensive negotiations.

They hope that by raising the offer by £500,000, it will be enough to convince Chelsea to part with the 29-year-old.

Alex has also been linked with Luciano Spalletti’s Zenit St Petersburg and Real Madrid, as Jose Mourinho first signed him at Stamford Bridge in 2007.

Neither Diego Lugano (30), nor Sebastian Coates (20). According to press reports from across the Channel, in particular the newspaper The Sun, Juventus would choose its new central defender, Alex Rodrigo Dias da Costa, or (29), according to Chelsea. According to British tabloid, Juventus would be ready to launch a new attack on the decisive play: next Tuesday, the leaders in Corso Galileo Ferraris will fly to London in hopes of closing the deal for Alex, giving the Blues £ 7 million, or 8 million euros.
