El Shaarawy

Milan have shown an interest in Genoa prospect Stephan El Shaarawy, the youngster’s agent has revealed.

El Shaarawy, who will be 19 in October, has seen his name in the papers recently after an impressive season on loan with Serie B side Padova.

Inter were said to have had a €10m offer rejected for him and Milan too have been associated with the attacking midfielder.

“There was contact from Milan for Stephan, but Genoa underlined that they intended to bring him home so that he could play for them next season,” agent Roberto La Florio told MilanNews.it.

“I’ve not had any real contact with Milan. There was a phone call, but not about anything in particular.

“I don’t know what will happen. I know that the Rossoblu and Milan have a good relationship, but I am under the impression that Genoa want to keep him at all costs.”

There is talk that a Milan derby will develop on the market for the Italian Under-19 international, but La Florio insists a number of other outfits are keeping an eye on developments.

“I don’t think Milan are the only club after him, there are other sides who are interested,” the representative added.

“However, up until now, there have been no negotiations or meetings about him. The clubs that have come forward have been able to talk to Genoa, but do nothing else.

“Inter? I don’t really know what steps they have taken. I just read the newspapers, but am not aware of anything concrete.”

Then really only a co-ownership proposal is feasible, and let him stay at Genoa.

And as far as Borriello, I'd rather we just sell him outright and use the funds for a different player... like Asamoah.

first, i admit i havent seen any full matches of el shaarawy playing for padova but some matches for the azzurrini plus some yt clips.
still i think that 10m would be quite outrageous. i mean, hes just another talent and there are plenty of them... let just wait for now and focus on our youth first that has plenty of potential too. no need to spend that much on a talent and then watch e.g. verdi outshine him...

I really hope we move for Nocerino instead of Asamoah

We need Asamoah much more then we need Nocerino right now.

I say we purchase him fully, then loan him to Genoa. It would be best for both parties. IF he has the ability to start for us though, I don't see why wouldn't keep him.

I can see Milan buying him and loaning him to Napoli as a make weight for Hamsik
