Problem with Meireles is he is not upto full fitness.He didnt play much in pre season and throwing him at Emirates would have been risky and could have easily caused an injury.We have dont that stupid thing with Gerrard countless times in his career so its good to see that we have learned from our mistakes.

Henderson's Pass Accuracy: 90%

67% of his passes were forward ones...those are important things people don't notice....Much better game by him...finally feels good to have depth and quality options off the bench

Not doubting Henderson's quality, but Merieles seems to link up better. But yeah, this insight is just based on 2 games....

He's done nothing wrong so far, and he's getting a reputation as a "flop". Sick of f*ckers that have no opinion, read some shit off RAWK, and then start going around saying that he's shit. Pissing me the f*ck off.

I mean, last week... after the Sunderland game for example. Kept possession well, best passing rate in team, but nothing too special up top. Subbed off for Kuyt and we started to hoof forward as no midfielder knew how to slow down the tempo.

Can't wait for him to play with Gerrard and Suarez.

Henderson honestly does look like a very sure player, (can you say that? lol), meaning he doesn't give the ball away much and passes well, good workrate etc.
What frustrates me is that we need more attacking contributions from our midfield and solutions and/or changes should be looked from somewhere.

Well, Henderson is still young, so he should be quite OK with being benched for some games.

Second goal wasn't an offside.

Rather disappointing attitude by some here.

Arsenal understrength? Yes.

But guess what, we didn't have gerrard, johnson and had players who were playing their 2nd game with each other (Hendo, Downing, Adam) along with not playing Suarez and Meireles for more then half the game.

10 men? No excuse, as its not Liverpool's fault fringpong couldn't control himself.

Own goal? yes it was, but did no one think it was the defenders under pressure who resorted to that mistake?

2nd goal offside? Look again. Do it.

Liverpool 100% deserved the victory.

Dalglish needs to stick with Miereles. I don't understand why he is not starting, they look so much more fluid when he plays not to mention he had a great year last year.

I never understood why there was transfer speculation this offseason with him, he is fantastic and the money you would get for him would not match his production

He was injured all pre season and we're not taking any risks. He'll start starting when he's match fit.

Like King Kenny said: "Arsenal weren't full strength but that's not my problem."

To be honest, we're not either. :\
