Any particular reason why a certain club with debt in excess of 300 (400?) million euro's does not have a kit sponsor?

not enough money offered... i imagine 3 mil a year wouldn't pull us out of our misery...
also we have herbalife on shorts and just signed some cruise company to have a logo on the sleeve but i doubt we're getting more than a mil combined from that... the board probably doesn't want to tarnish the front of the kit with some stupidass logo for little money...

Considering the financial state the club is in, the management do not exactly have the option of being picky...

well it's not like some puny 2-3 mil sponsorship will help that much towards the 300 mil debt, that's like trying to stop a train by spitting on it...

meh, not really... we'll end up this year with a pretty big profit anyway since we released most of the top earners, sold mata and are playing cl...

But entering the UCL group stage only brings in 3.3m, what will that do in terms of your 330m debt? :lol!:

last year we were dumped out of the round of 16 and got something like 13 million... it adds up with the bonuses for wins, draws etc...

no sponsor...
no, 3 mil on top isn't a bad thing, but point is that we won't be desperate for cash this season and accepting a 3 mil sponsor would set a future benchmark that i imagine the club wants to avoid... if we accept 3 mil now we won't be able to get more than that for several years to come

I actually find it weird that no investors are willing to cash in on such popular clubs. Especially Valencia, who are going to be in Champions League.

The problem with investing into the four teams comes down to popularity, most big sponsors will go to the more famous. Also the connections the clubs have are weak imo. Add to that the domination of barca and madrid the rest of group will only get peanuts compared to the first two.
I think Valencia are pushing for an 8M to 12M deal. Hope they can find what they want but they have to work on it.
