Ronaldo 9 vs Batistuta

Many who ve seen both in prime will claim that they were even. Batistuta was closest thing to R9 or vice versa. Forget about titles and popularity. Mind that R9 had better partners in NT than Gabriel, though the latter still banged 50+

Skill wise and team play who is the ultimate winner?

R9s first touch was amazing. i didn't see much of Batistuta but he was a beast in front of the goal.
hard to answer who was better but i'd go with R9.

R9 had better skills, but those ICBMs Batistuta launched daily... Jesus.

Now this is a tough choice.

Ronaldo was an extremely skillful player. On the other hand, Batistua was a clinical finisher and his shots had alot of power in them.

In terms of their main role as CF, i would go for batistuta but overall ronaldo.

batistuta was close to ronaldo in terms of clinical/finishing, but anything else there is no comparison.

Batistuta had a better shot and maybe is the only player ever who could give Ronaldo a run for his money when it comes to finishing.. But I would choose Ronaldo over him because I have seen Ronaldo play more

If Batistuta had ronaldo's team-mates he would win more than r9. In avarage team like Fiorentina he made his name as one of greats. Now think if he played for Madrid or Barcelona...or for Brazil. If Batistuta had Rivaldo, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Figo, Beckham behind him, he would win Ballon Dor 4 times...

I was talking about winning trophies not scoring. Batistuta scored more than r9 in international team, but no trophies = no fame

R9, Pele, Zidane, Cryuff which one was alone? problem is that messi has these names only in club team, but other greats had great names in national team too. well you are going to say messi also has great names in national team, but which one of them is in garrincha, rivaldo, ronaldinho, henry, viera, r.carlos, l.enriques, figo etc. level? these are team-mates that won or could win ballon dors, but in argentina squad theres only 1 man who can win ballon dor. And its Messi (pretty alone)
