everton beeter get real! They can't even pay their water bill, but yet they're trying to squeeze more money out of us. As good as Arteta is, he isn't worth more than £10m.

Can somone shed more light on Park. In a news paper, he said- I quote " I'm going to enjoy my 2 and a half years at Arsenal...". What's up with that? Is there some kind of automatic extension if S.Korea finish a minimum of 3rd at the olympics...???

Take into consideration that Arsenal recieve only 70% of all income from player transfers, with 30% going back into the club. And any deal regarding player signings must also include first year salary.

Its meaningless for Everton to sell him now for cheap.If they sell him they cant get replacement and the money will go to debt paying before the January window.So unless a irresistable offer is placed u cant blame Moyes not selling.

we bid 30m for hazard, they would have accepted the bid but it was too late to replace.

Best - Gotze we didnt get him but what a deal it would be, 35 mil bid rejected and to think club transfer record is 15 mil.

Worst - Barton i know it's for laugh but if it did went through, song gervinho diaby might have some unfinished business to do.

i think it's too late for us to get either of hazard or gotze. i dont think we'll be in the market with as much vigor and spending power as we had this summer, and it's VERY likely we wont be in the top4 so we'll be facing the prospect of being a less attractive destination. also bear in mind the other 'big' clubs that regular splash cash on players will want to get in on the sweepstakes as well.

but of course we have to let everything play out. just seems to me that the opportunity was THIS window because of those above factors. hope im wrong though
