They're in a bit of a rut at the minute but give them a month or so and they'll pick up. Friedel is a very good goalkeeper, they have some solid defenders, the problem is getting/keeping them fit. Bale and Lennon will be torturing defences once they get going, and Adebayor will flourish with the quality wide play Spurs have. With that said, I don't expect them to seriously challenge for the top 4, 6th would be my prediction right now

With an unmotivated Modric, a poor defense that looks set to continue leaking goals and nothing up front, it is hard to envision a good season for Spurs. Might snatch a Europa League spot.

EPL is very, very competitive this season.
