not that i believe in the rating system, but you can see how hard keepers get it..
if the best of the best ratings for a keeper is 7.3 while you see scrubs like Pique or Dani Alves who had a below average season get higher you know something is wrong.

Yeh it's all based on stats. Players who contribute in other ways aren't shown. Modric isn't even in the top 100. Laughing

The main problem is that a keeper who plays a perfect game (that is makes no mistakes, gets no goals against) usually only gets an average rating if there aren't many shots on goal and spectacular saves. That usually ruins the average for a keeper when compared with other players.

That's why I always say that you really need to separate players in the different jobs (GK / Defense / Midfield / Attack) to have at least somewhat comparable numbers.

now i know why so many posters had him in the their liga's best 11, even though i was sure many of them didn't follow la liga very much , let alone levante . Laughing
