Ive always thought he was class but not even close to as good as some make him out to be

Many state he's one of the best ST in the game but looking back at his career not only has he been injured long term in pretty much every season hes played in but hes never even beaten the 20 goal mark

He scores beautiful goals and is a classy player but do you believe he deserves the recognition he gets? any top striker imo should get more goals.

Lol.... Funny you're talking about him, I was just watching "The Footy Show" on The Score and the one guy called Van Persie world class but then said Gerrard was absolutely not

I think they're both world class but yeah most people rate him highly

I will get flamed for this as a fan but you're right. RVP need a feeder, those guys can work magic of their own. RVP's still beast with proper support though.
