Not really. Ligue 1 teams just don't have the budgets of EPL teams. So despite being the best defensive league in Europe, we just can't afford top shelf creative talent.

Btw, not saying the we compare to the current Man City, Man U or Chelsea (although PSG is close).... but from top to bottom, huge amounts of defensive and DM talent. France is a football factory for those positions. Much better tactical managing top to bottom as well.
