Villarreal had just 2shots on target, lack creativity or whatsoever, if Bayern utilised their chances in this match it could have easily be 4-0 in favour of bayern...

Villareal players seemed to be on valium.

They got destroyed by Real 0:5 earlier. What's up with them?
They shouldn't be THAT bad really.

Villarreal this season is such a downgrade from last year it's shocking.

Villarreal sold Cazorla with no replacement, misuse Borja, and as usual have no money. They were great last year, I dont have much hope for them now. Maybe 3rd in the group to go in the EL, but I think they might just end up in the top 6 in Spain, depending on Malaga.

"Destroyed" is probably overstating it, but they certainly dominated the match. Then again, Gomez and Robbéry cost as much as all of Villareal... -.-

Personally I don't rate Senna anymore. He's kind of past it.

They finished in the semi's a few years ago, they have also got to the quarter finals a couple of times, they have got to the CL most years since the Riquelme days....

How are they comparable to Tottenham?

Well I'm being harsh.

But Tottenham is known as the team who made their impression last year and were touted to be a future powerhouse while clearly that not the case through poor management and of their players.

Villareal have made blunders in refreshing their squad and relying on old guard along with questionable signings.

I respect them way more then Tottenham but for Villareal there are only signs of decline with their poor decisions.

i think this is like the 5th thread about how awsome bayern are!, seriously people calm down and btw, bayern are nowhere as good the likes of barca, man utd and madrid, beating a crappy spanish side doesn't mean much these days..
