bilbao is one of the most impressive and admirable clubs thanks to their transfer policy and the fact that not only have they never got relegated but always remain insanely competitive.

He was born in Basque country to non-basque fathers and moved to Zaragoza very young. He feels aragonese and is a RCD Zaragoza hooligan.

He is basque, I'm not denying it, but barely.

And I doubt basque youngsters are better than catalans comprising the likes of Bojan, Deulofeu, Isaac Cuenca, Romeu, Fontàs, Montoya, Alvaro Vazquez, Jordi Amat, Marc Bartra, Alejandro Grimaldo, Sergi Roberto, Marti Riverola, Ruben Miño, etc.

Cataluan U-19 18 17, get served up on a regular basis by The Basque U-19 18 17. dwi :coffee:

Free my Catalan friend.

I always relish this chance to debate our philosophies.

While you have presented a table of superbly talented individuals and I fully have the faith that they will serve Barca and Espana proud, most of them if not all are not proven and have spent most of their time in the Segunda and have yet to battle amongst the glorious and competitive of the Liga premier teams.

Here is my list.

San Jose
Susaeta
Javi
Agirrexte
Zurutuza
Ander (he is basque because he identifies with the culture and chose to go to Bilbao)
Azpulicueta
Monreal
Iker Munian
Igor Martinez (although not really proven)
De Marcos
Aurtunexte
Ekiza

I could go on...

In the end, we both have our own opinions as I know you still won't agree here.

But I guess we can both agree that our youth is definitely better then the Castillan youth

Bielsa has done a great job of being nice to all the journalists during press conferences.

That coupled with the fact that his athletic were so close to beating Barca means that Marca have no real reason to not like him.

First Black player ever to play for Athletic made his début against Sevilla if I'm not mistaken?

Jonas Ramalho... if so, then yes.

Angolan-Basque. Been following his footsteps since 14 yrs of age, will be a wonderful rightback.

Be on the look out for a Malian-Basque Striker who goes by the name of Binke Diabate... kid is suppose to be the real deal. Plays within the Athletic Bilbao cantera, Juvenil B. Will be the second black Basque player to play for Athletic..Book it!..he's only 15 and very very talented..kid looks like a man child imo.
