The eight runners-up other than the highest ranked one will enter the play-offs, where they will be separated into two pots based on their UEFA coefficient rankings. The final values of the teams' coefficients will be known once the qualifying tournament is complete. The tables below represent the current rankings of the eight teams currently standing on positions guaranteeing play-offs.


That means:

France, Portugal, Croatia, Ireland are in pot 1, the rest in pot 2

edit: I'm not sure if the rankings will change after today, though.
