Not really excited about his arrival as I feel he's past his prime despite not being that old. Although Schuerrle and Cuadrado were two signing I was excited for and they didn't work out for us, so maybe my excitement for a signing is not a proper indicator of how well it will turn out to be. Will see.

This seems to be the general two reactions from the Chelsea fans. I think I am going to wait and see before I make a call on whether I like it or not.

so where will he play? I assume Hazard and Oscar are fixed with Willian providing the work rate.

Willian will fight for minutes with him on the RW. Pedro has a great work rate and offers more off the ball runs than Willian but offers less on the ball.

Hazard has the LW on lock so no chance Pedro starts there.

It looks like Pedro really does well with a more direct style of play. his pace and quick passing really works out in his favor

One thing to note about Pedro is his underrated athletism. I honestly think he's an all round athlete. Pretty surprisingly strong, fast, wins 50-50s and doesn't really tire. The PL has more space to work with but its a question of if you can use it and athletism is a part of that
