man i dont care...any of those five is ok for me... better than galliani and his aides! as long as galliani is no longer part of the club or transfer activity or deciding who stays who will come... i will be very satisfied.

Reuters
Forgery claims hit AC Milan takeover bid
Agence France-PresseSep 21 2016, 2:56 AM

Milan - A Chinese consortium looking to purchase AC Milan has been accused of providing false documents during its initial negotiations with the Serie A giants, according to reports Wednesday.

Sino-Europe Sports Investment Management Changxing Co, led by businessman Li Yonghong, has already paid €100 million to Fininvest, the holding company of AC Milan owner and president Silvio Berlusconi, who is expected to sign off on the €740-million deal by the end of the year.

But a report by the Bloomberg financial news site, which cites a statement from the Chinese lender whose name appears on the documents, alleges that false documents were used in the initial negotiations.

The report claims Sino-Europe Sports provided documents on "what appears to be Bank of Jiangsu Co. stationery, purporting to show transaction details of a consortium member's corporate account".

It added that "after reviewing the matter, Bank of Jiangsu found it hadn't issued any such document detailing the account's transactions".

In a statement to AFP on Wednesday, Fininvest said it would "not confirm" that it had received the documents in question, adding: "and we do not intend to comment on the affair."

The Bloomberg report claims, however, that: "Fininvest checked the soundness of the buyers through contacts with Chinese financial institutions, and it continues to work to finalize the deal by the end of the year."

The claims, reported widely in the Italian media, have cast a shadow over a deal that could see Milan, one of the world's legendary football clubs, following in the footsteps of city rivals Inter Milan in being sold to Chinese investors.

Inter, Italy's last Champions League winners, in 2010, are now owned by the Chinese group Suning, who bought a majority stake in the club several months ago from Indonesian Erick Thohir.

AC Milan already pulled out of one deal with Chinese investors last year, and recently the new bid was hit by doubts.

Sino-Europe Sports issued a statement last week to quash claims it was struggling to gather the necessary funds for a successful takeover.

"Sino-Europe Sports confirms that everything is progressing rapidly towards the closing for the acquisition of Milan," the statement said.

"Yesterday [on Friday] David Han took part in a series of planned meetings with his advisors and Fininvest. All the parties are working to close the deal in the planned timescale."

According to preliminary negotiations between the parties, the deal is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.

Conspiracy theory: since the identity of the buyers is stil a bit shrouded in mystery, what if the buyer turns out to be...Bee? Makes sense if you think that he used last summer to get a valuation on how much he can buy the club, then realized he could get it much lower, calls off the deal, looks for surrogates (The consortium), act in his best interest, etc hmm

at this point both milan and from the chinese side released statement, and and they say both party has so far come to agreement and no problems in it and is exercising option to take legal action against false report against bloomsberg or not.

anyway, lets see once this deal is finalized. As much i am hating to see fassone taking his former inter aides, i personally feel that is much much better than having old management working under new ownership... galliani, barbara, berlusconi and both managerial and technical people from their helm should all be OUT! they are the ones who messed up our Milan big time. nearly a decade now since last time Milan was who they were... they OWE a decade of our cryout!

i dont care if former milan greats come up and ask for patience cuz after a DECADE .. i dont think anyone has any patience anymore

So the consortium and Fassone are trying very hard to land Il Capitano as part of the project,

Maldini seems willing however he mentioned that the project, investments and his role need to be clarified before he accepts anything.

For me, the best piece of news since the the initial investment was announced. This could turn us around big time.

Mirabelli was one of the few people at Inter that thought Geoffrey Kondogbia wasn't worth the money, valued him at €15m [Sky Italia]

Take that as you will

As seen with Juve's resurgence. A sporting director is a very important job. I am still unsure about Mirabelli's strengths though.

Berlusconi has requests should the closing be delayed:

- €100M deposit
- Real role as president, capable of making decisions (1/2)

- Galliani remains at Milan
- No Chinese vice-president to join the management.

there has been a news that takeover will take place in late feb / early march and we will have 130 million to spend in market and another 100 million for infrastructural investment

some big names on targets are aubameyang, keita, and possibly fabregas although chances are slim for him.

i sincerely hope that milan dont go and blow up all 130 million on 2-3 players just like we did with bacca, bertolacci, and romagnoli.

nothing wrong with bacca and romagnoli but we can do better deals and wise investments because we know milan will not be in CL. at the moment the whole team needs to be look into to improve, and i dont see how just 1-2 big names will solve the problems we have been having for 3-4 years.
