INTER Empty INTER

Post by Vibe Sun Oct 16, 2011 3:01 am

I think it's pretty clear now we ain't gonna win anything this year unless we have a miraculous change of heart...

What needs to be done is youth development so we can make this season useful in some sense rather than going down this road with no perspective. We need to prepare our new and young players for a new season and a new era in our club.Playing our seniors until they bleed clearly isn't bringing any results, and there's no point really.Instead of pushing players on a steady and irreversible decline like Samuel,Maicon,Stankovic and Milito, deadwood like Muntari and Chivu and players who read their age backwards like Lucio we need to give as much time as possible to our younger hopes.Since we already invested 12 mill into Alvarez, there's really no point keeping him benched for Muntari,is there?

Viviano,Ranocchia,Faraoni,Jonathan,Crisetig,Poli,Obi,Alvarez,Coutinho,Zarate,Castaignos. These are the names that we shouldn't just be hearing when they read out the subs. What does it take for our management to realize that this set of players are a far cry from the ones who made the biggest achievement of Italian football? What will happen next year? The old guard will be even older, and the new guard will be just as new if we keep them in the stands.Think this is bad?Next year is gonna be even worse...

In order to make this season productive,we must sacrifice results(and seeing how we play there's no sacrifice really) for the sake of the future.Introducing fresh starters and getting rid of old ones is a must...And sooner we do it the better, financially and football wise.Significant funds can be raised from selling players like Cesar,Maicon,Lucio,Samuel,Stankovic,Muntari and Milito. Most of them are far into 30's.We already have a solid base for a new team, without significant spending new Inter could be built with just a little bit of fu*king vision.

We already have Mariga returning in midfield(if we're not that stupid and really sell him for 5 mill),Poli who's gonna cost us just 7 million.Who the f*ck needs Muntari and Stankovic?Cesar is a blunder keeper now,and we have the best prospect of Italian goalkeepers in our squad.Center back is the position needing reinforcements, someone to stand alongside Ranocchia. There's plenty of cheap players who are coming up in the world.Bocchetti would kill to be back in Serie A and would be cheap,Astori was dumped by Milan and could be brought in for 10 million or less. Both young and Italian...Serie A experienced.Strikers are well covered with Pazzini,Forlan,Zarate and Castaignos.Options are there,we just need someone willing to take radical actions and a manager with vision to put it all together.

Had to put frustration into letters, better than bottle it up and kill hookers :coffee:

i agree completely, but unfortunately the board has a win now mentality, as it is a business. so odds are we keep fielding an old squad until january when we buy some mediocre player who only comes on as a sub every once in a while. hopefully this summer we have a revolution, get a good long-term coach to give our youth some stability.

i appreciate everything players such as milito, lucio, samuel, maicon, stankovic, cesar and chivu gave and won with our beloved inter, and will always remember them in the highest regard. but the fact of the matter is they're past it and its time for a new era. viviano, jonathan, ranocchia, faraoni, nagatomo, poli, crisetig, mariga, alvarez, obi, coutinho, zarate, castaignos, and caldirola are all good, young talent who make a great starting point. add in the experience of zanetti, cambiasso, sneijder, pazzini and forlan and we could have a great mix of youth/hunger and experience.

with the money/salary we'll save from selling the aforementioned elder players, then we could definitely add a few good and maybe one very good player. having lucas from sao paolo would be absolutely fantastic, he's a superstar in the making and would bring new life to our struggling side. for defence, one of jan vertonghen or angelo ogbonna would be wonderful to have on our backline. some unlikely rumors floating around are of us after hulk from porto and eden hazzard form lille.

possible lineups:

in transition 4-2-3-1

----------------viviano

jonathan--ranocchia--vertonghen--nagatomo

--------zanetti----------cambiasso

lucas----------sneijder-----------alvarez

---------------pazzini

future 4-1-2-1-2 {my fifa team lol}

---------------viviano

jonathan--ranocchia--vertonghen--faraoni

--------------mariga/poli

-------lucas---------------alvarez
--------------sneijder/coutinho

--------hulk------------pazzini

bench: castelazzi, zanetti, cambiasso, obi, ogbonna, nagatomo, caldirola, crisiteg, zarate, castaignos, {coutinho, poli}

our team is in shambles, and i'm hoping we blow it up soon.

I believe Inter still has the squad to challenge for Serie A and the CL spots, its just that the constant change of coaches has thrown the players mentality for games out the window

I can also see Inter buying some good youngsters in the coming years
But don't get Lucas, he's rubbish. Really, really bad. Better just let Milan sign him...

INTER AbBpvUDalA

A completely new and rejuvenated 11 with just 1 new player...Young and perspective Italian Inter.

With the sales of:

Cesar - 15 mill
Lucio - 8+
Samuel - 5-6
Maicon - 13-15
Stankovic - 3
Muntari - 5
Sneijder - 30+ (Gonna be hard to keep him how we are doing)
Milito - 5

Around 80+ million can be raised selling these heavily declined seniors + Sneijder. If we sign 5 backup players for average 10 million each we'd still be 30 million good...Redeeming Poli and Zarate will cost 22-23 mill and that's a financially positive mercato with a completely fresh squad. We are so close...

One flair player is needed because currently it's awful watching this team play,Hazard/Hulk would be my dream pick.Alvarez was supposed to be that player but he is not.

I think we should go for Sandro of Tottenham if we could get him within reasonable price,he would be a very good replacement of Cambiasso....
