Lol, you are so deluded and misinformed. Wembley and timed irrigation?Emaharg wrote:Lionel Messi wrote:Lol at Madrid didn't dive, hahaha. Re: Is El Classico overrated?
That's not much in comparison tbh, trophy handing out =/= celebrating and going into the dressing room, especially after the whole Marcelo horror tackle/Mourinho eye poking fiascoEmaharg wrote:

You didnt stay to worship us while we celebrated our Copa win, did you? And Copa>Supercopa. They were a very nice set of games, but after all that shit at the end (which was stupid), there was no chance in hell we were gonna stand there and clap. Even at the end of the well tempered Copa final you didnt do that. Puyol shamefully snatching the silver plate and running away, anyone?

Re: Is El Classico overrated?
I'm sure Real Madrid would have celebrated if not the situation was so violent. They were told to leave so the public doesn't get violent aswell I heard.
Also, Barca didn't dive in SuperCopa is a myth, Messi dives ffs

Lol, can I have more blur please? Madrid fans and their own deluded reality. Marcelo clipped Messi there, do I have to make a HQ GIF of it, so you can actually see from it?omarish wrote:Also, Barca didn't dive in SuperCopa is a myth, Messi dives ffs

Re: Is El Classico overrated?
Well Marcelo clips, or fouls there, so it isn't classified as dive, so you shouldn't advertise it as one, even if it looks funny.
EDIT: wait you don't really see that Marcelo clips Messi's left leg which hits then hits his right leg there?

Re: Is El Classico overrated?
LOL @ Barca fans complaining about diving.
For every time a Real Madrid player even thought about diving there were already 3 Barca players on the floor.

Re: Is El Classico overrated?
Well, as derbies go - I would always go for Schalke - Dortmund, just as Sushi said. (Here's some info on that for those who don't follow the BL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revierderby)
I have watched one of the four classicos last season as it was shown live on some German programme, but I can't say I found it really entertaining, as that what stuck most to my memory was quite some hack'n'slay plus lots of diving. Not really my cup of tea, I have to admit.

Real Madrid fans trying to point our player flaws by Barcelona.
Honestly, you got smashed 5 0 and won a [broken] Copa del Rey and they won the league title and the Champion's League.
Give it up. Both did bad things, no need in going over it because the end result is what matters.

Can't believe El Clasico is being compared to a mid-table bundesliga derby, Schalke was undefeated in the Revierderby for 7 years in 2005 It's had a few good moments I'll admit but does not have the history El Clasico has, El Clasico is one of if not the biggest rivalries in sports.

Nothing beats the quality, prestige or pressure of El Clasico...
I think the Manchester Derby is the biggest game in England right now however.. I don't think City is quite there yet though, they've been sub-par in Europe.. I expect a United victory led by Wayne 'The Beast' Rooney

The quality of El Clasicos have been recently stained by all the diving and play-acting and much of the pressure comes from the fact that no other team than those two can win the title, so those games are actually a little too important than what would be healthy for competition.
El Clasicos are great games, but in some ways they have gone too far for my liking.

once upon a time we won 4-1 against them, your point is
in fact there have been 8 games since that, guess people cant find a single game in those matches that showed barca being superior to us without cheating lol
everybody knew that if barca got through the semi-final they would be winning the CL lol, no otther team can stop them ffs

Re: Is El Classico overrated?
Well, you obviously have no clue about the Schalke-Dortmund rivalry then. I doubt many people in Germany care for some Spanish derby as much as for Schalke-Dortmund. ^^Lionel Messi wrote:Can't believe El Clasico is being compared to a mid-table bundesliga derby, Schalke was undefeated in the Revierderby for 7 years in 2005 It's had a few good moments I'll admit but does not have the history El Clasico has, El Clasico is one of if not the biggest rivalries in sports.
