At goalscoring he is better than half of them, but as an overall player he is only better than RVN and maybe Raul. Same level with vieri, shevchenko. worse than others

Anyways I don't think CR7 is top 25. Certainly top 50 though.

CR definitely isnt top 30.Maybe top 50,i think Cristiano needs to leave a better legacy,la decima would help a lot.

He has done enough for the NT imo with that Euro final considering Portugal is pretty meh.

Messi has better players around him in Argentina and is a better player than CR so i think he has somewhat a obligation to win a title with the Argentinean NT.

The simple fact is that you can ask 100 million people to give you their top 20 of all time, and not even two will give you the same. imv, this greatest of all time thing is ovesrrated.

anyway, i have watched football for 10 years only, so i would say, of the players i have seen, only

Messi, Henry, Zidane, R9, R10, Figo have been better

And Charlton said CR7 is the greatest. So who am I to argue?

The DFL chief claims that the Portuguese attacker would not be as good in Germany as he is in Spain and heaped praise on Bastian Schweinsteiger

Deutsche Fussball Liga CEO Christian Seifert believes that Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo would find life harder in the Bundesliga than in La Liga.

The Portugal international moved to Real Madrid from Manchester United in 2009 in a world-record €94 million deal after establishing himself as one of the game's hottest properties during his six-year spell at Old Trafford.

Since his arrival, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 98 goals in all competitions for the club, but the CEO of DFL, which operates the 1. Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga believes the 26-year-old would struggle in Germany.

"I am firmly convinced that Cristiano Ronaldo would not be a superstar in Germany," Seifert told reporters.

The DFL chief added that the €94m spent to sign the Portuguese attacker would have been put to a better use if channeled into developing training centres.

"Since 2000, the high quality of training in the youth centres has made the Bundesliga steadily better," he noted.

Seifert went on to praise Bayern Munich's Bastian Schweinsteiger, who has been at the Allianz Arena since 1998.

"He is 27 years old, has almost 100 international caps and has convinced at every major tournament since the 2006 World Cup," Seifert explained.

"He is also a midfielder. And they have a greater importance than a goalkeeper or a defender."

From the original interview it sounds as if Seifert believes Ronaldo will have a problem because he is good looking and rich and might be too occupied with stuff off the pitch like advertising etc XD
