I have a ton of respect for Kane as a player, but despite Leverkusen emerging as dark horses, I feel like every other Bundesliga team than Bayern is sub-par to their usual standards this season. Dortmund, in particular, are struggling despite having been able to fluke themselves to a couple of victories (Man Utd- style). I don't watch the Bundesliga as much as I used to, but I do watch Dortmund and Bayern occasionally, and it's hard not to notice the drop in overall quality of the league. I'd be curious to know what Hans' take is on the current state of the league.

Kane more so finally has a team to unlock his actual abilities and clearly needed a team and change of scenery given Spurs is a dead and non-progressive club.

He's been the best player in the world this season so far and that isn't really an unpopular opinion. Ambitious move rather than plying his trade in a small pond.

That’s great for Kane, but they’re 10 points behind Leverkusen in the league. They might still be able to drag themselves to the top by the end of the season, but for a team who hasn’t lost the league in over a decade, not doing so would be considered a failure for the club, and somewhat tragic in Kane’s case

And losing against Dortmund at home for the first time in 10 years. Not to mention, it's likely the weakest Dortmund team in 10 years. Even my fellow countryman, Julian Ryerson scored from a pretty spectacular solo effort, and he's not even a starter on our national team. Quite extraordinary stuff. It's one thing for them to lose against Dortmund, but this performance was a convincing low point in Bayern's recent history.
