Besides can't he come back anytime he hasn't retired from football just resigned which means he can come back for big tournaments where it counts.

Doesn't deserve to be allowed back ever.

why not? he hasn't done anything wrong...

Seriously? If you think that then it's not even worth trying to explain it to you.

i don't see anything wrong with boateng leaving his NT team...would you prefer he stay and play like crap for years to come like certain players do.

Lack of respect for his country, no real reason to actually leave... Selfish, poor attitude.

how do you know that and what reason did he have to stay in the first place...im sure he would be playing for germany now if they took him he grew up german....

His reason he gave for leaving was he can't handle playing for NT and club Neutral If that's not why he should have the balls to come out and say it.

well alot of players can't handle it but they do it because it's part of their dreams or goals in life their are so much examples of players being injured and such in international football and he doesn't want to add more risk to his career...

Meh , Ghana already got the new Essien . And he'd 'personally ride his own bicycle from England to Ghana' to play , doesn't looks like a guy who will quit NT aged 24 .

IMO , This is a lot less "wrong" than Scholes or Carra .

KPB always gave the impression he chose Ghana because Germany didnt choose him - If that was true , this probably corrects a "wrong" decision - from the player himself , and from the Ghanaian FA.

We did without Essien, we'll surely do without him, it hurts a bit though, since Ghana helped him get into the global spotlight, after being relegated from the EPL with lowly Portsmouth.

Ghana has a lot of midfielders coming up, Agyemang-Badu, Derek Boateng, Andre Ayew, Kwadwo Asamoah and Emmanuel Frimpong, will certainly fill any "vacuum" Kevin has left. He has only played two matches for Ghana since the World Cup and was quite poor in both.

I wish him the best in his footballing career....

couldnt have said it better myself and you forgot Anthony Annan btw : P

I honestly don't see what is wrong. It's already public knowledge that Ghana was his second choice.

What's wrong is if he plays no part in Ghana's WC qualification and comes back for the 2014 World Cup. KP Boatengs decision to play for Ghana was mutually beneficial.

What a mercenary just used Ghana as a personal stepping stone, people shouldn't be treating national teams like that.

What a joker.

Its disrespectful to Ghana, and respectful to Milan, as he doe not want to risk further injuries, so I dont give a *bleep* tbh.. ofc, people who dont support Milan will start pissing on him.

And plz, all chelskie players are mercenaries so dont even start

ehrrr, what that mean?

we've always had talents coming up the ranks, there is one Udinese kid, Agyemang Badu, who I consider to have better potential than kPB,

we made it to the next AfCON topping our group on the way with basically no help from Boateng, we will make it to the next WC again, Ghana is not a one man team, else we wouldn't have been able to reach anywhere with our about 3 "world class" players...

Ghana is about the team spirit......

and the fact that we nearly robbed your Germany of a near chance from qualifying from the group attests to it.....

kevin Prince who?

for all I know, he is just a player who passed through our ranks...... people claimed we would be nothing without Essien.....

He doesnt love Ghana, has no pride in playing for them.

So quitting isnt a big deal, but like Lewis has said its quite disgusting the way he has used them for his own gain and using fatigue as an excuse doesnt cut it with me.
