Moments later the ‘Baby’ singer, who was donning the full kit (as kids do), posted the picture on Twitter with the caption: ‘Got to play football with Chelsea today #swag.’

Metro Sport is unclear of what exactly Bieber meant by ‘#swag’… surely he’s rich enough not to have pinched anything…?

But regardless, we’re sure Blues chiefs will quite happily have let the singer pocket a few Chelsea colouring pencils if it means getting their name out to a few more of his whopping 14,000,000-plus Twitter followers!

Bieber, 17, previously trained with Spanish champions Barcelona back in April, and not many could have predicted that the pop wonderkid could have been swayed away from the Nou Camp.

Expect some 'Bieber has Barca DNA’ comments to start emanating from Xavi and co. any time now…
