Rooney vs Ibra: Best all around striker

Best multi-dimensional strikers out there, can do anything on the pitch. Who is more vital/important/effective?

Ibra since he can offer more and he is a technical beast.

Just because Etoo is in RPL, doesnt mean he is gone. Watch him be back for Inter on loan.

Yes but they arn't a shadow of what they used to be, i'm not saying in their primes they weren't all better than Rooney, but as of now it is his time.

All close to 30 or over, how hard is it to admit a player isn't what they used to be?

I would say Ibra, but it's close

Ibra is more consistant and beast in serie A
but Rooney has better work rate and is EPL proven

rooney purely because he is more important to united/ england than ibra is for milano/ sweden

also ibra still hasnt delivered enough in the big cl matches for me personally despite his quality

Rooney is a great player as well, maybe top 3 in the world. He also has age on his side and may still become the best striker in the world.

As of right now though, Ibra > Rooney

di natale is better than both imo...and di natale passes better than ibra for the people claiming hes better than anyone else in his position...

ibra would ve been the most perfect player in the world if not for his disappearance is some of key games

Rooney:

Has great season, after a meh one. After his White Pele in 2009/10, he was Torres like in the following season.

So they basically have two disavantages: Ibra's big games and Roonay consistency. 50/50, but Ibra edges it for me, as he plays for Milan yo

if rooney is probably top 3 in the world and you rate ibra above him i am curious to know which of messi/ ronaldo you removed from the list

Ibra is better over the course of their career until now. What do you mean about all-round? Is it how complete their ammunition as a striker or how as a player whose positioned at the top one have more complete gameplay then the other?

If what you mean is the latter, it's Rooney no contest. He's far more all-round in his game than Ibra, he can move wide, go deep, and also go isolated upfront. All that without a fuss and still make the team play good. Ibra was a monster striker who can do it all from his position, but the team would be very dependent on him in several critical moments and he also depends from his teammate to give the ball to him (Rooney presses better). So, Rooney for your question although Ibra is rated higher by many I think?

Ibra has won the league something like 8 years in a row, before Rooney was even a professional player

All around=gameplay overall=striker with other features (e.g. playing as a defender in setpieces and as mid in counters etc)
