How many bad first touches has Xavi had in the last 4 years, open your eyes and don't let bias fool you. seen most of Zidane through his Juve and RM days, He had a great touch but it was not as consistently as good as Xavi's. On par with laudrup, no where in Diego's league. It's hard to judge tbf because of the amount of changes that Fifa keep bloody making, but I have never seen any player with as much conssiency with is first touch as Xavi.

Xavi doesnt even have better ball technique than iniesta(but xavi is better player than inesta) let alone zidane.Laudrup is close call but zidane was as good.

Oh please. Zidane was asked to playmake and take 10x the risks compared to Xavi. Of course he's going to have less efficiency. He played most of his career with 2 DMs around him and was asked to do almost all the creative work and flow work for his teams. Xavi is a facilitator with Iniesta as the creator and Busquests to cover him (and Alonso on Spain NT)... he's not in Zidane's league technically.

How much Laudrup is overrated on these boards is shocking especially since none of you ever saw him play. Just base your opinions on youtube videos. Well, i saw him a lot and i can tell you his was very good, but nowhere near on par with Zidane, Platini, Maradona, etc.

Ball skills contains dribbling skills,first touch ,close control and ability to pick the ball from random situations and xavi is league below iniesta interms of ball technique who i view as poor mans zidane...

Also zidane is a player who is constantly in final third of opposition are you really saying his ball techniques are inferior to xavi who is operating in middle of the field and hardly pressured compared to final third ?

Can I be hones guys, I'm a bit of Zidane myself.... actually if anything in a recent interview Zidane said his greatest regret was not playing alongside jibers...go figure....Cruyff, pele, Maradona, Best, jibers...
