yes, one player can just touch the ball ever so slightly and then another can just run it in but it doesn't even look like Yakubu touched the ball in this case lol

Yep, Yakubu's last touch on the ball was with his hand. I think he was expecting Penderson to properly take the corner, which is why he placed it for him. Pendersen either intentionally cheated, or he didn't realise Yakubu had not touched the ball with his foot.

MOTD showed that the ref's back was turned, moving towards the box. Unfortunate position he was put in, for sure.

Its not the first time done.I've seen it been practised in the Serie A too ..
